The VQ4131 is an AS568-131 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.674 in (42.52 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.88 in (47.75 mm). This quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

Expect good resistance to chlorinated solvents, petroleum oils and fuels, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Viton® (FKM) is specified for outstanding high-temperature capability and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters.

It sees regular use in semiconductor equipment, oil and gas, and chemical processing.
