VQ4136 is an AS568-136 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.987 in (50.47 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.193 in (55.7 mm). In service, this quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

The material holds up against aromatic hydrocarbons, petroleum oils and fuels, and chlorinated solvents. Viton® (FKM) offers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids call for a different compound.
