Ordered as VQ4137, this is an AS568-137 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.05 in (52.07 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.256 in (57.3 mm). The quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is valued for very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The compound resists engine and transmission fluids, many acids, and aggressive chemicals. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines.
