The VQ4138 is an AS568-138 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.112 in (2.84 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.318 in (58.88 mm). This quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. It resists aggressive chemicals, chlorinated solvents, and aromatic hydrocarbons. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids are present.
