Ordered as VQ4140, this is an AS568-140 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.237 in (56.82 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.443 in (62.05 mm). The quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) delivers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. It resists engine and transmission fluids, chlorinated solvents, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service.
