VQ4141 is an AS568-141 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.3 in (58.42 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.506 in (63.65 mm). In service, this quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is known for outstanding high-temperature capability and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. This material stands up to petroleum oils and fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, and engine and transmission fluids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in chemical processing, automotive fuel systems, and aerospace.
