VQ4148 is an AS568-148 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.737 in (69.52 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.943 in (74.75 mm). In service, this quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

Viton® (FKM) delivers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. It resists engine and transmission fluids, petroleum oils and fuels, and aggressive chemicals. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). The profile itself contributes lower compressive load required to achieve a seal and resistance to the spiral twisting that defeats round-section rings.

Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across aerospace, automotive fuel systems, and high-temperature process equipment.
