The VQ4149 is an AS568-149 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.8 in (71.12 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.006 in (76.35 mm). This quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

Viton® (FKM) delivers outstanding high-temperature capability, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The compound resists aromatic hydrocarbons, petroleum oils and fuels, and aggressive chemicals. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to hot water and steam or ketones and esters will shorten service life.

Typical settings include oil and gas, semiconductor equipment, and automotive fuel systems.
