Ordered as VQ4150, this is an AS568-150 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.862 in (72.69 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.068 in (77.93 mm). The quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

This material stands up to aromatic hydrocarbons, aggressive chemicals, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is known for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or amines are present.
