Ordered as VQ4155, this is an AS568-155 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 3.987 in (101.27 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.193 in (106.5 mm). The quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

Viton® (FKM) is known for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and very low compression set at elevated temperature. It resists many acids, engine and transmission fluids, and petroleum oils and fuels. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
