Ordered as VQ4162, this is an AS568-162 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 5.737 in (145.72 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.943 in (150.95 mm). The quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

The compound resists aromatic hydrocarbons, many acids, and aggressive chemicals. Viton® (FKM) is known for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit.
