**4166-514AD MINNESOTA RUBBERQUAD RING

VQ4166 is an AS568-166 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 6.737 in (171.12 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.943 in (176.35 mm). In service, this quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

This material stands up to many acids, engine and transmission fluids, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) offers very low compression set at elevated temperature and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where ketones and esters or hot water and steam are present.
