The VQ4167 is an AS568-167 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 6.987 in (177.47 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.193 in (182.7 mm). This quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

Expect good resistance to chlorinated solvents, aggressive chemicals, and aromatic hydrocarbons. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) offers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service.
