*4169-514AD MINNESOTA RUBBER QUAD RING

This quad-ring is supplied in AS568-169 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile built to an inside diameter of 7.487 in (190.17 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.693 in (195.4 mm), catalogued under part number VQ4169. It uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

It resists many acids, engine and transmission fluids, and petroleum oils and fuels. Viton® (FKM) is specified for very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids.
