4223-514AD MINNESOTA RUBBER QUAD RING

VQ4223 is an AS568-223 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.609 in (40.87 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.887 in (47.93 mm). In service, this quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

The material holds up against aromatic hydrocarbons, aggressive chemicals, and engine and transmission fluids. Viton® (FKM) is known for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters will shorten service life.
