Part number VQ4225 is an AS568-225 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.859 in (47.22 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.137 in (54.28 mm). A quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

Expect good resistance to aggressive chemicals, many acids, and engine and transmission fluids. Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments.
