Ordered as VQ4228, this is an AS568-228 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.234 in (56.74 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.512 in (63.8 mm). The quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

It resists aggressive chemicals, many acids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Viton® (FKM) offers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Verify compatibility before use with ketones and esters or amines.

Typical settings include high-temperature process equipment, oil and gas, and semiconductor equipment.
