This quad-ring is supplied in AS568-232 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile with an inside diameter of 2.734 in (69.44 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.012 in (76.5 mm), catalogued under part number VQ4232. It resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

This material stands up to petroleum oils and fuels, aggressive chemicals, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Viton® (FKM) delivers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
