This quad-ring is supplied in AS568-246 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile built to an inside diameter of 4.484 in (113.89 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.762 in (120.95 mm), catalogued under part number VQ4246. It delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

Viton® (FKM) is valued for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. It resists petroleum oils and fuels, many acids, and aggressive chemicals. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with hot water and steam or amines.
