Part number VQ4248 is an AS568-248 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.734 in (120.24 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.012 in (127.3 mm). A quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and outstanding high-temperature capability. It resists chlorinated solvents, many acids, and engine and transmission fluids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines.
