VQ4254 is an AS568-254 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 5.484 in (139.29 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.762 in (146.35 mm). In service, this quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is valued for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The material holds up against many acids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and petroleum oils and fuels. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).

Typical settings include automotive fuel systems, high-temperature process equipment, and semiconductor equipment.
