APG stocks the VQ4256, an AS568-256 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 5.734 in (145.64 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.012 in (152.7 mm). A quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

Expect good resistance to petroleum oils and fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, and aggressive chemicals. Viton® (FKM) is known for very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines are present.
