VQ4260 is an AS568-260 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 6.484 in (164.69 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.762 in (171.75 mm). In service, this quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

This material stands up to engine and transmission fluids, aggressive chemicals, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Viton® (FKM) is valued for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids are present.

Typical settings include aerospace, high-temperature process equipment, and automotive fuel systems.
