The VQ4263 is an AS568-263 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 7.234 in (183.74 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.512 in (190.8 mm). This quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

It resists engine and transmission fluids, chlorinated solvents, and aggressive chemicals. Viton® (FKM) delivers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and outstanding high-temperature capability. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in amines or hot water and steam.

Typical settings include semiconductor equipment, automotive fuel systems, and oil and gas.
