*4275-514AD MINNESOTA RUBBER QUAD RING

This quad-ring is supplied in AS568-275 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile built to an inside diameter of 10.484 in (266.29 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.762 in (273.35 mm), catalogued under part number VQ4275. It provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

The material holds up against aromatic hydrocarbons, petroleum oils and fuels, and engine and transmission fluids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) offers very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where amines or hot water and steam are present.

Typical settings include automotive fuel systems, oil and gas, and aerospace.
