**4280-514AD MINNESOTA RUBBER QUAD RING

Ordered as VQ4280, this is an AS568-280 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 13.984 in (355.19 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 14.262 in (362.25 mm). The quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

It resists petroleum oils and fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, and many acids. Viton® (FKM) is specified for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids are present.
