Part number VQ4316 is an AS568-316 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.85 in (21.59 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.27 in (32.26 mm). A quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

Viton® (FKM) offers outstanding high-temperature capability, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The compound resists aggressive chemicals, engine and transmission fluids, and petroleum oils and fuels. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
