Part number VQ4320 is an AS568-320 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.1 in (27.94 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.52 in (38.61 mm). A quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The material holds up against many acids, chlorinated solvents, and engine and transmission fluids. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to hot water and steam or ketones and esters will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in oil and gas, high-temperature process equipment, and chemical processing.
