APG stocks the VQ4331, an AS568-331 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.225 in (56.52 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.645 in (67.18 mm). A quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and outstanding high-temperature capability. This material stands up to chlorinated solvents, aggressive chemicals, and petroleum oils and fuels. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving amines or hot water and steam call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in aerospace, semiconductor equipment, and automotive fuel systems.
