APG stocks the VQ4340, an AS568-340 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 3.35 in (85.09 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.77 in (95.76 mm). A quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

Viton® (FKM) offers very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. It resists chlorinated solvents, aggressive chemicals, and many acids. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). The profile itself contributes a parting line located away from the sealing surface and two sealing bands per contact face rather than one.

Typical settings include semiconductor equipment, chemical processing, and automotive fuel systems.
