Part number VQ4361 is an AS568-361 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 5.975 in (151.77 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.395 in (162.43 mm). A quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Expect good resistance to petroleum oils and fuels, aggressive chemicals, and many acids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. The profile itself contributes resistance to the spiral twisting that defeats round-section rings and a parting line located away from the sealing surface.
