Part number VQ4362 is an AS568-362 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 6.225 in (158.12 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.645 in (168.78 mm). A quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

The compound resists petroleum oils and fuels, chlorinated solvents, and aggressive chemicals. Viton® (FKM) is known for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to hot water and steam or ketones and esters will shorten service life.

Typical settings include automotive fuel systems, aerospace, and high-temperature process equipment.
