Ordered as VQ4366, this is an AS568-366 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 7.225 in (183.52 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.645 in (194.18 mm). The quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) offers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. This material stands up to engine and transmission fluids, petroleum oils and fuels, and chlorinated solvents. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Applications involving ketones and esters or hot water and steam call for a different compound.
