APG stocks the VQ4373, an AS568-373 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 8.975 in (227.97 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.395 in (238.63 mm). A quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

This material stands up to chlorinated solvents, petroleum oils and fuels, and many acids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is specified for outstanding high-temperature capability, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam will shorten service life.

Typical settings include automotive fuel systems, oil and gas, and high-temperature process equipment.
