The VQ4381 is an AS568-381 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 11.975 in (304.17 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 12.395 in (314.83 mm). This quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. The compound resists aromatic hydrocarbons, aggressive chemicals, and many acids. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
