Part number VQ4425 is an AS568-425 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 4.475 in (113.67 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.025 in (127.64 mm). A quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

Viton® (FKM) delivers the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and outstanding high-temperature capability. Expect good resistance to aggressive chemicals, chlorinated solvents, and petroleum oils and fuels. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.
