The VQ4433 is an AS568-433 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 5.475 in (139.07 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.025 in (153.04 mm). This quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is valued for very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. It resists many acids, engine and transmission fluids, and chlorinated solvents. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam.
