Ordered as VQ4455, this is an AS568-455 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 12.975 in (329.57 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 13.525 in (343.54 mm). The quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

This material stands up to engine and transmission fluids, chlorinated solvents, and petroleum oils and fuels. Viton® (FKM) delivers very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C).
