Ordered as VQ4460, this is an AS568-460 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 15.475 in (393.07 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 16.025 in (407.04 mm). The quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

Expect good resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons, aggressive chemicals, and engine and transmission fluids. Viton® (FKM) offers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids.

It sees regular use in semiconductor equipment, automotive fuel systems, and high-temperature process equipment.
