VQ4462 is an AS568-462 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 16.455 in (417.96 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 17.005 in (431.93 mm). In service, this quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. It resists petroleum oils and fuels, many acids, and engine and transmission fluids. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids.
