This quad-ring is supplied in AS568-469 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile built to an inside diameter of 19.955 in (506.86 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 20.505 in (520.83 mm), catalogued under part number VQ4469. It provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The compound resists many acids, engine and transmission fluids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
