ROD WIPER (AN STYLE) 7/8 SLOTTED HEEL

Ordered as WAN07SH, this is a Polyurethane (AU/EU) Wiper Type WAN Wiper Seal built to a 7/8 inch inside diameter. The wiper seal scrapes dirt, moisture and debris from an extending rod before it can reach the primary seal.

As a material, Polyurethane (AU/EU) is known for very high tensile strength and load capacity, long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service. This material stands up to extrusion under high pressure, abrasion and wear, and ozone. Applications involving hot water and steam or acids and bases call for a different compound.
