ROD WIPER (AN STYLE) 1 1/8 SLOTTED HEEL

APG stocks the WAN11SH, a Polyurethane (AU/EU) Wiper Type WAN Wiper Seal built to a 1-1/8 inch inside diameter. A wiper seal scrapes dirt, moisture and debris from an extending rod before it can reach the primary seal.

The compound resists petroleum oils, ozone, and extrusion under high pressure. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Polyurethane (AU/EU) is widely chosen for outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure and toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds. It is not the right choice where acids and bases or prolonged humidity at elevated temperature are present.

It sees regular use in mining and heavy equipment, construction machinery, and off-highway equipment.
