APG stocks the WD1000SH, a Polyurethane (AU/EU) Wiper Type WD Wiper Seal built to a 1 inch inside diameter. A wiper seal scrapes dirt, moisture and debris from an extending rod before it can reach the primary seal.

As a material, Polyurethane (AU/EU) is valued for outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure, very high tensile strength and load capacity. The compound resists extrusion under high pressure, petroleum oils, and ozone. Applications involving hot water and steam or ketones call for a different compound.
