Part number WD4000SH is a Polyurethane (AU/EU) Wiper Type WD Wiper Seal with a 4 inch inside diameter. A wiper seal keeps abrasive contamination out of the cylinder, dramatically extending seal and rod life.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified here for toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds and long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service. The material holds up against impact and shock loading, extrusion under high pressure, and petroleum oils. It should not be specified for service in ketones or prolonged humidity at elevated temperature.
