APG stocks the WD4500SH, a Polyurethane (AU/EU) Wiper Type WD Wiper Seal supplied with a 4-1/2 inch inside diameter. A wiper seal scrapes dirt, moisture and debris from an extending rod before it can reach the primary seal.

Expect good resistance to abrasion and wear, impact and shock loading, and petroleum oils. Polyurethane (AU/EU) offers toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds and exceptional abrasion resistance. Applications involving ketones or hot water and steam call for a different compound.
