1 1/2 DUST CAP BRASS ETC

Ordered as 315DCBR, this is an Ever-Tite Brass Dust Cap Cam and Groove Coupling supplied with a 1-1/2 inch nominal size. The cam and groove coupling closes off a female coupler to keep debris and moisture out of an idle line.

Brass is known for good corrosion resistance in water and mild chemical service, an attractive, durable finish. Expect good resistance to atmospheric exposure, moderate pressure, and corrosion in water service. It should not be specified for service in ammonia and amine compounds or dezincification in aggressive water.

This part is produced in accordance with MIL-C-27487G ; A-A-59326. Common environments for this compound include petroleum transfer, water and irrigation, and plumbing and process piping.
