Ordered as 315FBR, this is an Ever-Tite Brass Part F Male Adapter x Male NPT Cam and Groove Coupling measuring a 1-1/2 inch nominal size. The cam and groove coupling joins a male adapter end to a male NPT thread.

As a material, Brass offers good strength with dependable sealing at threaded joints and excellent machinability yielding tight, clean threads. Expect good resistance to atmospheric exposure, moderate pressure, and corrosion in water service. It should not be specified for service in ammonia and amine compounds or dezincification in aggressive water.

It is manufactured to MIL-C-27487G ; A-A-59326. It sees regular use in petroleum transfer, general industrial, and water and irrigation.
